Doris Louise Strickland

Doris Louise Strickland, 79, formerly of Princeton, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Johnston Medical Center. She was born in Durham County on November 20, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Esther Strickland Parrish. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Casey Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Dwayne Batten officiating. Burial will follow in Parrish Memorial Cemetery.

She is survived by: Daughters: Sue Rodenbaugh and husband James of Oxford Donna Goodman and Brett Smith of Grantham Grandchildren: Brandon Thornton, Danielle Rodenbaugh, Matthew Rodehnbaugh, Terrie Boyette, Cassandra Rodenbaugh and Anthony Rodenbaugh

The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 pm through 7:00 pm on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Casey Funeral Home. At other times the family will be receiving friends at the home of Brett Smith, 1056 Selah Church Road, Grantham, NC.
